What PaycheckDB is
PaycheckDB is a 2026 US paycheck calculator built for employees, job seekers, freelancers comparing W-2 offers, and small employers who need a quick withholding estimate before using payroll software.
The product is intentionally narrow: it estimates take-home pay from wages, W-4 inputs, federal withholding, FICA, supported state payroll rules, local inputs where available, and common paycheck deductions.
What makes it different
Each state page carries a support level and source cards. If a state withholding table has not been verified, the page says so instead of pretending the estimate is payroll-ready. The calculator runs in the browser so sensitive paycheck inputs are not submitted to a PaycheckDB server.
